I began my working career as a senior in high school in the secretarial field. I thought that was what I was going to do as my occupation. Then I injured my arm. I was told that I couldn't do secretarial work anymore. I didn't know what I was going to do. It was by God's grace that there was a job opening at Trinity Lutheran School. It was in April....the end of the school year. That is how I know, without a doubt, that God led me here. His plan was different than mine. His plan was so much better than mine. It always is. I love teaching. It fills my heart with so much joy. I can't help but smile when a child has an ah-ha moment, such as writing their name for the first time, all by themselves. When I hear the kids talking about how many people are at school and they say we have to add one more because Jesus is always with us. Hey - they WERE listening. They grow each and every day in academics and spirituality. And I GET to be there alongside of them, not just guiding them, but enjoying the ride.
